To Christians On Election Day

As we Canadians decide (or atleast believe we decide) our future today, it is obvious to many of us that a large portion of our country has no idea what's at stake. We will either hear our great nation take a much-needed breath, or we will hear it's death rattle.

It is very easy to become angry, jaded and crass while seeing so many acting out their ignorance but if we're truly surprised, maybe we aren't paying close enough attention either. We are a Christian nation on the cusp of being lost forever to Satan, and while this fact is anxiety inducing, it should not be shocking.

Those of us who are Christians know what is happening and it's sting goes much deeper than the election of an undeserving Prime Minister.

It is the dawn of a darkness that will bring the true source of light. It is the evil that will beacon the deepest good. It is the ending that will give way to new beginning.

Regardless of the result of the day, may God bless us. May He use this time to set our feet on the right path. May He make clear to us, who we are supposed to be in a world that hates us more and more. And may the Lord our God give us the peace of mind, body and soul of a seasoned warrior, stepping out on the battlefield one last time; for our war is already won and the coming darkness, only proof of His greatness and truth.
