The Real "Right Wing".

There seems to be a lot of dishonest people on the left who like to get online and tell the world all the things that us "right wing extremists" believe. Of course anyone with half a brain knows that most of those things are untrue and that there are very few actual "far right" people in the west but I figured it'd be nice to set the record straight.

Here's a list of the things that we actually believe so there is no confusion...

1. Freedom. We want freedom, not just for ourselves but for everyone, including those of us who believe differently than we do. We want you to be free to express your opinion without threat of violence. We want the freedom to earn a living and raise our families as we see fit, without the forced influence of those who oppose us.

2. Truth. We want the truth to be readily available to all without ambiguity. We want the freedom to tell the truth of our savior Jesus Christ without being attacked. Not because we want to force it on people but because we want to spread the love of God to all. We want the treatment of those with mental illness to be based in reality and to not have that illness spread the way it has in recent years.

3. Justice. We want laws to punish crime harshly but fairly without consideration for race, gender, economics or upbringing. We want the ability to protect our families from any and all threats even if that protection leads to the death of the perpetrator. We don't want to kill people but if it's them or our family, it's going to be them. That's why we want the right to bear arms.

4. Family. We want the foundation of our nations to be the health and well being of the nuclear family. Only men can teach boys to be men. It is vital that children have both parents growing up and any social program or common practice that hinders that goal should be ended.

5. Community. We believe that holding people to a high social standard is paramount to having a highly functional and thriving society.

6. Ending political and economic corruption. Capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other system but it cannot continue to be manipulated by the rich and powerful for their own personal gain. Having said that, there is no better system so destroying the system is throwing the baby out with the bath water.

7. God. The most important thing in our society is to understand that our countries were built on Christian and biblical foundations. You don't have to believe in God but you do need to recognize that our countries are the greatest nations in history because they were founded on Christianity. To go backwards, especially to socialism or communism will destroy our countries and very likely kill us all.

These beliefs are traditional. They are not extreme in any sense. I'm a Canadian who is 50% American. I used to be proud of my countries and I'd like to feel that way again. If you are on the left but are not so far removed from your humanity that you celebrated the death of a man, let's start to heal this.

Media, government and the extremists on both sides want us divided. There is no reason that those of us who are decent people can't fix this manufactured divide.

At the end of the day, the whole left vs. right is a joke. We are individuals, we are not sharing a brain with 50% of the population. We are all our own person and we are all sharing this world with eachother.
