Men have on average 20-150 million sperm per sexual event. Women are born with 1 to 2 million eggs. The likelihood of you existing is 1 in 4 trillion. For anyone currently trying to date like I am, you know how rare it is to find someone that you want to create a family with. Now remember that all generations back to Adam and Eve had to line up perfectly for you to exist and that's precisely what happened.

You are more rare than any other thing on this earth.

Throughout human history there are stories of people giving their life for another. Infact, it's the mark of any good book or movie. If the story being told isn't a matter of life or death, it tends to lack the excitement that we're looking for.

Man has fought wars to preserve the safety of their family back home. They've jumped infront of bullets intended for another. They've stepped infront of speeding cars to save another from being hit.

We have always seen life as something worth risking and sacrificing for and then something changed.

In 1968 the US Supreme Court overturned a law that made it illegal to teach evolution in schools. Children began being taught that the universe is here by luck, that we are just animals, no different than a dog or a goat. Just existing for a time with no reason or purpose and then dying and soon forgotten.

We now have generations who believe their existence is entirely meaningless. That they don't matter in any way and will one day disappear and be forgotten. Aside from the hopelessness it causes in the individual, it also has caused many to see others as meaningless and irrelevant.

This terrible teaching is the basis for thinking it's ok to murder another person, to abort a baby, to bomb a country and to live a hedonistic life.

We now treat evolution as fact and the average person has little, to no understanding of the reality of evolutionary science and even less of the science that contradicts it.

When our modern education system was being developed, the goal was to create workers, not to see every child reach their fullest potential and part of this devious plan was to create a story that "proves" that there is no higher power than government. If the government can prop themselves up as the highest authority, they won't have to contend with those who would hold them accountable. As a result, the "science" used for evolutionary study was so biased that it could barely be called science. This confirmation bias was bought and paid for and any science that contradicted the theory of evolution, was quickly buried and the scientists involved were often discredited and fired from their positions.

The truth is, there is far more scientific proof of the biblical creation than there ever was for evolution. Many will scoff at that statement but that's because they have a lifetime of training working against them.

In a world where we are viewed as an insignificant number, it is important to remember that we were created. We were intentional. We were planned by God before He ever separated the light from the dark.

Each and every one of us are endlessly valuable, regardless of gender, color, political affiliation, nationality or upbringing. If we could all remember this with each interaction, we could create a much more beautiful world.

About Me

Music is my life, but in order to have something worth writing about, it could be argued that you must first live a big life.

I'd like to think I've lived the best I could in my forty two years. I'd also like to believe I've absorbed a little wisdom along the way. On the other hand, I could be completely wrong.

Either way I thought I would write down some ideas and maybe they'd find an eye or two and spark some conversation.

The topics are not based only on music but have had influence on my songwriting to one degree or another.

I hope you enjoy

Sincerely

Justin
