The unbridled devotion to the Pride movement is demonic in it's nature.
There is a big misunderstanding in our culture today and it's creating an unnecessary divide that doesn't need to be there.
There seem to be endless causes being taken up and creating more and more anger and divide every day, however, the divide between Christians and the LGBTQ seems to be as tense and full of misunderstanding as it can get.
Any Christian who has any understanding of what they claim to believe does not hate a single gay, trans, or any other lettered person you can list. That's an important thing to understand because we absolutely hate Pride. We hate the movement. We hate the tribalism involved within it. We hate pride!
Our world plays out in two ways. It's either the will of God or it's the will of Satan. Satan creates forgeries of the goodness of God. On the surface, they may seem like great things but they are meant to destroy. The LGBTQ movement is a forgery of God and is demonic.
The Pride movement says "we accept you just as you are" but God says"I accept you despite who you are and will show you how to live a better life like I designed for you." The Pride movement says "you were born in the wrong body so change it" but God says "you were created in my image and are being deceived." The rainbow is a biblical symbol from God. It has been hijacked to represent sin and debauchery. The word "pride" was chosen because God calls pride a sin.
The unbridled devotion to the Pride movement is demonic in it's nature. It is a religion for people who have rejected God and instead worship sex and gender and is therefore directly contrary to God and his teaching.
While the movement has been very prominent of late, it is not a new concept, Infact, every empire in history has developed this obsession and is usually the catalyst for it's destruction. When a society runs out of real life and death issues, it begins to obsess over sex and gender. It happened in Sodom and Gomorrah which is why God destroyed those cities with burning sulphur that rained down from the sky. Infact you can go to the site of Gomorrah today and still find thousands of balls of sulphur that were extinguished in bodies of water and then buried in the earth.
As Christians, we hate a movement that celebrates sin. We do not hate the ones who are sinning. Because sex is such a luring topic, there is a lot of emphasis put on homosexuality, perversion, and a myriad of other sins that are sexual in nature but we are also sinners. Being a Christian doesn't make us better than anyone and it certainly doesn't mean we don't have our own issues to deal with. The difference is, we as Christians are learning how to recognize our sin and put an end to it both because of the damage it does to us and because we want to live more like Christ.
The Pride celebration is a direct mockery of the teachings of Christianity and is actively encouraging others to sin. That's the reason Christians fight to keep it away from our kids, away from our communities, and out of our lives. However, the individuals who have been taken in by this false religion are still loved by God and as such, we are to love them too. Not by "accepting" their sin but by treating them with love and kindness like Christ would.
It is our job to be loving as Christians but not accepting. The Pride movement has become a social contagion and should not be accepted or even tolerated by the church. It is not loving to allow people to ruin their eternal lives. However, the individuals within the movement are the result of a fallen world, just like us. They were chosen by God before the earth was formed and God has a plan for their lives.
