Twenty four hours ago Charlie Kirk was gunned down at a Utah campus for the crime of saying words.
There is a lot of rage right now. There are a lot of calls for retribution but if we are going to properly represent our savior, we need to learn to see things for what they truly are.
There is a lot of talk about mental illness in all of this and anyone with common sense can see that there is way too much of it, especially on the politically left but we as Christians must be able to see that most of the mental illness we are seeing is, infact, spiritual illness.
Even in the darkest times, we must be able to see past our initial anger and despair and see that these are lost souls being manipulated by demonic forces.
I'm certainly not saying that they get a pass and we definitely need these people off the streets but if we give in to our anger and hate, we become the very thing we're trying to rid the world of.
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. John 15:18
God bless Charlie Kirk. God bless his wife and children.
The world is better for having had you in it.
