But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

Matthew 5:44

The world has shifted again. The anger and hatred is at a new high and while I feel it as much as anyone, it makes me sick.

I have written before about spiritual warfare and while I'm learning as I go, I know a few things. I know that Satan latches on to those he can use to his advantage, I know that he does not bother with people who are not a threat to him, and I know that when things become confusing and dark, I can focus on God and His word to provide understanding.

Christ lived a perfect life, He spent His time healing the broken and saving the lost. Despite these facts, the very people he tried to save, tortured Him, they humiliated Him, they nailed him to a cross and mocked Him while He lifted Himself, tearing his already broken flesh to draw each breath.

After all of this Jesus looked to heaven and spoke those famous words...

"Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do".

There are demonic forces working very hard in our world today. They know their days are numbered and that they are defeated. They are doing everything they can to take as many of us with them as they can.

Charlie Kirk bled and died for his faith and beliefs but His creator already bled and died for him. Charlie is home where he was always meant to be with his Savior.

The anger we are feeling right now is righteous anger but in the aftermath of everything that has happened, it is vital that we not place that anger on the lost and broken. They are nothing more than pawns in a spiritual war that they aren't even aware of.

Christ's sacrifice was enough. It was enough for all of us. Our job is not to hate or harm the lost, it is to share with them the reason we are all in this.

Those who break the law will be punished but none will escape God's judgement. It is not our job to play that part for Him.

Christianity is about living our lives as closely as we can to how Christ lived. It's time for our faith to be put to the test. If Jesus was able to forgive then we are to forgive too, even when it's difficult.

About Me

Music is my life, but in order to have something worth writing about, it could be argued that you must first live a big life.

I'd like to think I've lived the best I could in my forty two years. I'd also like to believe I've absorbed a little wisdom along the way. On the other hand, I could be completely wrong.

Either way I thought I would write down some ideas and maybe they'd find an eye or two and spark some conversation.

The topics are not based only on music but have had influence on my songwriting to one degree or another.

I hope you enjoy

Sincerely

Justin
