Our apathy has become our undoing.
Have you ever considered why it is that only the west is being pushed into the idea of 'multiculturalism'? Why isn't there any focus in Africa or China to bring in outsiders and allow them to change the culture?
The idea that the UK, America and Canada were so terrible that we needed outsiders to come "fix us" is a laughable notion. These are the three greatest nations to ever exist, yet now we're being told that we need multiculturalism to "fix us".
Interestingly, it is only predominantly white nations that seem to need "fixing" despite the fact that outsiders were always welcome in our countries and they wanted to come here because we are the greatest countries to live in. All we asked was that they adapt to life here and not ask us to change to accommodate them. Now, that has all changed.
If we complain about entire blocks of our cities being shut down by angry outsiders or prefer that people in customer service positions speak English, we are labeled "racist". Of course, most of the people making such accusations are just virtue signaling for online clout but multiculturalism exposes many uncomfortable truths that are going to need to be addressed.
Multiculturalism is a failure across the board, not because of racism or extremism, but because not all cultures are equally valid and worth our acceptance. For instance, many cultures today still practice slavery. Others treat women like animals. These are not cultural norms that we want to adopt here in the West so who is deciding what we accept and what we don't?
Unfortunately there is no way to understand what is happening in the world without a firm understanding of the Bible. It's unfortunate because the people making the decisions to sell our countries out to other, lesser cultures are not even aware of what they are doing.
If you are familiar with the story of Babylon's destruction, you should understand that some seperation within the human race is vital to maintaining a functional society. God chose to seperate us to keep us from falling too far into our sin.
It is natural for all of us to be drawn to people who are similar to us. We like to be able to understand eachother and to connect on what we find important. Multiculturalism flies in the face of that natural order. If you put several different types of people in one place who don't agree, don't relate, and don't want to learn from eachother, you get nothing but misunderstanding, anger and violence. This is why the west is having an identity crisis at the moment. We've forgotten our own culture in an effort to be "inclusive".
It's not that outsiders shouldn't be welcomed here, it's that they should enter legally, respect our traditions and be forced out if they become a negative in our society. This used to be common sense but there is now an active effort to destroy our culture and replace it with lesser cultural norms. Here in Canada, we've become so used to being comfortable and content that we are too afraid to speak up for fear of being labeled a "racist" or being "canceled". Our apathy has become our undoing.
My grandfather came here from the Netherlands as a child. They came here because Canada provided a better life. They wanted to become Canadian. They learned English, integrated into Canadian life and our family recently had a park named after us in our hometown. We are Canadians first and Dutch second. We have no interest in turning Canada into Holland and being the proud Canadians that we are, we expect anyone coming here to do the same. If you are coming here to change Canada, I speak for millions of Canadians when I say...
You're not welcome.
