Blog #41 - The System

The system is a life-long indoctrination to believe that if you do what you're told and pay the right university, you too will have everything you ever wanted.

There is a very heated conversation taking place right now about something that we all exist in, fight against, are taught by and seem to hate. It's 'the system'.

The system is a fascinating thing because we all seem to be angry with it despite many of us disagreeing completely on the things we blame it for. The irony of it all is that it doesn't seem that anyone fully understands what 'the system' really is.

To some it's government, to others it's capitalism. Many seem to talk about the system as though it's a state of mind that only the most intelligent and gifted can ever claw their way out of. Of course, then we need to decide who is truly intelligent and that's where I believe the problem lies.

Science, philosophy, innovation and even truth all seem to begin in the colleges and universities. After all, it's clear that those gifted people who have degrees and doctorates must be the intellectual leaders in our society. The only problem with this commonly held belief, is that our educational "system" is funded and regulated by the same "system" that we're all fighting against. In that case, are we not creating a problem and then fighting it ourselves, and if so, are the most educated really the most intelligent?

People who spend extended periods of time in school and who are usually our leaders, exist within that system much longer than those of us who ventured out on our own after high-school. They have spent their lives being taught, being encouraged and being validated by the education system that also dictates what science we focus on, what ideologies we accept, and what ideas are dismissed. By the time a person finishes their degree or doctorate, they are then often recruited by companies, firms and hospitals that are all part of that same system.

During Covid I spoke to several doctors about getting a prescription for Ivermectin. The responses were all the same. Not only was I told no (obviously), but I was spoken to like I was a child. By this point I had studied covid and the vaccine very deeply. I had put in roughly 1500 hours digging into every bit of information I could find. I knew the vaccine was dangerous and that it wouldn't work but these "professionals" kept pushing it over and over.

The reality is, these doctors have been in the system since kindergarten. They never once stopped to think for themselves. It's not that they aren't every bit as intelligent as their reputations suggest. It's that they believe so deeply in the system they existed in their whole lives, that when that system gets it wrong or acts out evil, these doctors were unable to conceptualize the idea of it betraying them.

If it's true in the case of doctors, perhaps lawyers, accountants, scientists and politicians can also be blinded to that fact that they are the system!

The system is a life-long indoctrination to believe that if you do what you're told and pay the right university, you too will have everything you ever wanted. Just be sure to turn away when it's used against your own self interests.

It's becoming more and more the case that Christians are being persecuted for living out the truth of Jesus Christ. It is vital to understand that we are the enemies of the system.

As we fall further and further from the society God intended, it is clear that many of our most educated are blinded to the truth of the spiritual warfare happening all around us. It is our job to help them understand. Some may be too proud to listen, but God is much more powerful than the system that they exist within.

About Me

Music is my life, but in order to have something worth writing about, it could be argued that you must first live a big life.

I'd like to think I've lived the best I could in my forty two years. I'd also like to believe I've absorbed a little wisdom along the way. On the other hand, I could be completely wrong.

Either way I thought I would write down some ideas and maybe they'd find an eye or two and spark some conversation.

The topics are not based only on music but have had influence on my songwriting to one degree or another.

I hope you enjoy

Sincerely

Justin
